Lotus Ecostay kajal Vs Lakme Eyeconic Kajal | Review | Priyanka Bisht

Hey everyone,

How are you all doing ??

Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the festivity of the season.

Today I’ll be comparing two kajals so that you will be able to make out a better choice between the two.

Kajals are very popular in the Asian countries. They enhance the beauty of a woman. They have traditional importance too. Earlier it was considered that putting a kajal prevents all evil energies around you. So the mothers in not only in the ancient times but still today put a spot of kajal on the small kids to save them from the evil energies.

Kajals are also used to remove the impurities from eyes and to keep them healthy. But it is also important to make a good choice among all the kajals available in the market.

Always use a kajal which is branded and always check for its Brand authenticity. Look for the ingredients.

Today I have brought two kajals here to draw a comparison between them.

Lotus Ecostay Kajal & Lakme Eyeconic kajal

Let’s begin..

Price- Lotus Ecostay kajal – Rs. 250/- as I purchased it online and it is a discounted price whereas Lakme Eyeconic Kajal costs around Rs. 200/-.

Ingredients – The ingredients are not mentioned on both the products.

 Inner packaging-

Lotus Ecostay Kajal is like a pencil. It needs to be sharpened.

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal comes in a pen like structure. It needs to be turned to use it.

Texture – Both the kajals are jet black in colour. When we talk about the texture Lotus Ecostay Kajal is very smooth it easily glides on the waterline compared to Lakme Eyeconic kajal but its quality of being super smooth in texture makes it more prone to breakages.

Claims  The products claim:

Lotus Ecostay Kajal – 10hrs

Lakme Eyeconic kajal- 22hrs

Lotus Ecostay Kajal

I didn’t found that the claims made by the Lotus for this product are true. I have been using this kajal for almost 3 months. I apply it in the morning while leaving for college. It perfectly sets when it is applied but when passing of time, kajal starts smudging. It smudges within 2-3 hours of its application.

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal

The claims made by this brand are not so true in nature but its the same case as it started smudging within 3-4 hours of its application.

It maybe due to the fact that I am having watery eyes.

Good thing about the products would be that it really offers you an intense black finish.

The inner packaging of Lotus Ecostay is messy. With every use the pencil needs to be sharpened which leads to the unwanted wastage of kajal. The inner packaging of Lakme eye conic will be a plus point as it leads to the proper use of the product, No wastages.

Keeping all these points in mind, I would make a choice for Lakme Eyeconic Kajal between Lotus Ecostay and Lakme Eyeconic kajal. But I would also look for other better options.

Thank you..
